Medical Board Investigations: What You Need to Know
Program Description
As regulatory intrusion on the practice of medicine continues, increased awareness of most common regulatory complaints and investigations is critical to protecting the practice of good medicine. Healthcare professionals have a poor understanding of the insurance coverage and adjudication processes for these matters. This seminar will review the most common Medical Board administrative actions brought against physicians and the process for responding to them. Strategies for preventing complaints and mitigating their impact when they do occur will be discussed.
